COVID 19 Vaccine Registration In Assam: In light of the unprecedented Covid-19 outbreak, India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has agreed to vaccinate all Indian people aged 18 to 44. Registration for vaccination against the Covid-19 infection started today (April 28) at 4 p.m. on the Co-WIN Portal and the Aarogya Setu app for all people over the age of 18.
COVID 19 Vaccine Registration In Assam: The government has also made it mandatory for people aged 18 to 44 to register on the Co-WIN Portal, the Aarogya Setu App, and the UMANG App, and to schedule a vaccination appointment.

Basic Requirement/s for COVID 19 Vaccine Registration In Assam
Documents: To be vaccinated, all individual have to produce/ possess anyone of the following documents –
a. Aadhaar card
b. Driving License
c. PAN card
d. Passport
e. Pension Passbook
f. NPR Smart Card
g. Voter ID Card (EPIC)
Mobile Number: All individual wish to register themselves for online vaccine registration must have an active mobile number to register their name. A number can only be used for a maximum of 4 persons.
COVID 19 Vaccine Registration In Assam –Is it free at all vaccination centres?
Currently, vaccination is free at government hospitals and charged at INR 250 in private hospitals for citizens aged 45 years and above. This will cease to exist from May 1, and even those above the age of 45 years will have to pay at private facilities that cost fixed by the private hospital.
For people between 18 to 44 years, the States will announce the policy relating to payment. Govt. of Assam has announced that they will offer it for free at government centres.
However, at private vaccination sites, the cost will be decided by the private hospitals and you can see the price of each vaccine at the time of booking.
How to Register for COVID 19 Vaccine In Assam

# Click on COVID Vaccine Registration.
# A new page will be opened.
# Enter your mobile number and hit the Get OTP button. A one-time password (OTP) will reach your phone.
# Enter the OTP you have received on your phone and click Verify.
# Now, enter details such as your name, gender, and year of birth. Click on Register.
# Click on Schedule next to the name of the person registered to book the appointment for the vaccination.
# Enter your pin code and click Search. You will see the centres available for your pin code.
# You can also search for a vaccine centre by selecting your state and district.
# Select the centre and date and time for the vaccination, and hit Confirm.
# Additionally, Click on +Add Member button to add your family members
